Cicely Williams is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (Geaux Ragin’ Cajuns!), where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Psychology. She also holds a dual Master of Arts in School and Community Counseling from Regent University in Virgina Beach, VA. Cicely brings over 12 years of professional experience in higher education, with a career spanning Louisiana and Texas. In addition, she is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has nearly 19 years of experience in the behavioral health field.

Cicely joins the University of Houston from Lone Star College, where she served as Manager of Accessibility Services and Resources since 2021. Throughout her career in higher education, she has held a variety of roles across Counseling and Wellness, Academic Advising, Student Services, Title IX, and Disability Services, supporting both students and employees.

Her work has consistently focused on supporting diverse student populations in navigating academic pathways, accessing institutional resources, and achieving their educational goals. Cicely is committed to promoting student success, retention, and the development of inclusive, student-centered learning environments.
